Sizing & measuring

How do I choose the right size?

Measure your rod width and the drop from the rod to where you want the panels to end. For a full, gathered look, choose a total panel width of about twice your rod width. Our measuring guide walks through it step by step.

What does "52"W x 84"L" mean?

Width x length, per panel, in inches. Curtains are sold as a set of two panels unless the title says 1 panel, so a 52"W set gives you 104" of total fabric.

How long should my curtains be?

For a tailored look, panels should just kiss the floor. For a relaxed, luxe puddle, add 2–4 inches. Measure to the floor and round up to the nearest available length.

Can I get a custom size?

For most windows one of our standard drops will fit beautifully. If you need something bespoke, contact us and we'll help.

Materials & care

What is your velvet made of?

A dense 300 GSM triple-weave velvet with a soft, matte, light-drinking pile. It hangs with real weight and a deep, even drape.

How do I wash and care for them?

Machine wash cold on gentle, tumble dry low, and steam or iron on low from the back. The pile relaxes and drapes beautifully after the first hang.

Will the color fade?

Our velvet is dyed for vibrant, long-lasting color that resists fading. Darker shades naturally block more light.

Blackout & performance

How much light do they block?

Our thick velvet blocks up to 85% of daylight and UV — darker colors block the most. For full room-darkening, choose a blackout style in a deep shade.

Are they thermal and noise-reducing?

Yes. The heavy weave insulates against summer heat and winter chill, and the dense pile softens outside noise for a calmer, quieter room.

What header types do you offer?

Depending on the style: rod pocket, back tab, and grommet. Each product page lists its header type.

Swatches

Can I see a color before I buy?

Yes — order free velvet swatches from any product page and hold the real fabric against your wall, sofa, and morning light before you decide.

Why does the color look different on screen?

Screens vary, so color can read slightly differently in person. Swatches are the surest way to match your room.

Shipping

How much is shipping?

Free on U.S. orders over $100. Under $100, a flat $8 rate applies. Fabric swatches ship free.

How long will delivery take?

Orders are processed in 1–2 business days and typically arrive within 5–8 business days. You'll get a tracking link by email once your order ships.

Can I track my order?

Yes. A confirmation email follows every order, and a tracking link is sent as soon as it ships.

Returns & exchanges

What is your return policy?

Return within 30 days of delivery, unused and unwashed, in the original packaging with tags. Return shipping is the customer's responsibility, and a 20% processing fee plus the original shipping is deducted from the refund. Refunds are issued 3–10 days after we receive and inspect the return. See our refund policy for full details.

Something arrived damaged — what now?

Please inspect your order on arrival. If anything is damaged or defective, contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos and we'll arrange a replacement or refund.

How do I start a return?

Email decor@stangh.com within 30 days with your order number, reason, and photos, and wait for approval before shipping anything back.

The panels arrived wrinkled — is that normal?

Yes. Velvet is compressed for shipping. Hang the panels and let them relax, or steam lightly from the back — they'll fall into a smooth drape.
